Legal apps are feeling the heat too from offshore.
DK gave me 50% - 1x roll 2 times this week. Literally played - won - cashed and got the same offer next day - so I deposited double (original and the winnings) took the 2nd offer and did it all over again.
Live wagering of course requires either more appetite for risk on the books part - or a wider customer base to offset action. That’s likely why offshore resist it at all but the big boy operations - or has to keep such low limits.
I still think it’s a “grooming” of young bettors the way the apps push live betting as well as cash outs - like it’s perfectly normal for some kid to bet $500 to win $5 on a team up 2 going into the 8th inning in baseball or acceptable to cash out and take horrible cash outs to lock in a profit - knowing full well you’ll lose it all eventually that day. Same people who brought 6:5 Blackjack and continuous shuffle machines likely thought this stuff up - and they will continue to rip players off as long as they allow it.
Live betting is of course a very valuable tool in the hands of a professional - but in the hands of amateurs it’s like handing a gorilla a hand grenade - at some point the ape is going to injure itself.
