Hi all. Don’t have much time lately to do a lot of handicapping, or betting for that matter.

Will be firing $20 win bets here and there at Turfway and Tampa. Good luck to all.

Was expecting big things from trainer Chris Davis during the two Keeneland meets and Churchill. Never materialized. He did very well at Turfway last year, so maybe this is what he points to these days….

Threw a twenty to win on each of the following at Tampa:

Race 1
#7 Regal Rules 10-1
Trainer Smith seems to go to Meneses whenever he wants to gun to the lead. Price will be right so worth a twenty in a small field of unproven 2-year-olds.

Race 6
#3 Breath Deeply 12-1

Race 8
#6 Rocket Dragon 10-1

Trainer Speith trains the above two. She hasn’t hit the winners circle yet this meet, but always dangerous at a price when her husband is riding.

It’s been forever since I’ve taken a couple of hundred up to the track to spend a few hours

Played two today at Tampa:

Race 2
$20 win #6 Paola Trouble 10-1

Ochoa horses running well so far. Has three or four wins, best price was $19. I like him at longer odds so hoping this one is ignored. Also hoping for a swift pace up front.

Race 8
$20 win #5 Waterworks 20-1

Plenty of SUBTERFUGE on this one which should get us a huge price.
1. Horse has never run at Tampa.
2. Looks like ownership moved the horse from a Mountaineer based trainer to Posadas after its last start.
3. Coming off a DNF, when it tossed the jock at the start.
4. Posadas horses running great, with biggest priced winner at $32 thus far. Being totally ignored after a rough meet last year.
5 Horse fits here class-wise, with its best Mountaineer efforts coming at the same or higher level.
