Hell - most people don’t even carry cash these days it seems.

Way too reliant on debit/credit cards.

I usually carry a few hundred - just in case. A couple of bills tucked and a few 5s/10s and a couple of twenties. Tipping who 50? Not many I tip that large. Those who provide a service to me regularly that’s above and beyond I tend to present a gift of a personal nature - not a tip.

No way in hell for example I give a valet/waiter or such a $50 tip just to pretend to be a big shot. $20 max for someone like that - again, people I deal with regularly I get to know and present more personal thank you’s as warranted.
