That's specifically how Facebook works. Zuckerberg is selling the information on you to anyone/everyone, including overseas companies (he sold it to companies in China) and then targeting you with specific ads for revenue.

Also, if anyone thinks they can trust Elon Musk to protect your information, you are insane.
It's about ALL of these companies (Facebook, Tik Tok, etc...) creating money with your private information.

If they ban Tik Tok, they will have to do something about the others as well.

I cannot remember if we have the same issue before with MySpace and Friendster. I want to go back to a time when social media are still peaceful and purely for entertainment.
