get your drift but I just shipped $600 via PP to a guy who runs a football pool. He has a backup ASST MGR but still that is the risk you take. for a post up contest.

I guess the only way to do this properly is having not one single person hold the funds (have access to the funds), but several. But with more fund managers, the risk of misappropriation increases, right?

So maybe someone dying in the middle of the NFL season shouldn't be a serious consideration here? I mean, what happened to 'only gamble with the money you can afford to lose'.

What's a proper professional way in your opinion?

I mean this is no different than a home poker game. You go in expecting to have fun, and hopefully win a hundred bucks. The most likely outcome is: you have fun, you lose a few hundred, and once in a while the game gets raided and you also lose your watch and semi-pee your pants.

Know your risks, don't bring your wallet or your good watch to a home poker game. Especially in the Atlanta area.

Last year it was 13K. I played 2 entries as each entry is $300. I teamed up with some friends so my position is about $275. About top 10 get paid. In addition there are segment prizes for best 5/6 week runs and a best bet prize for 1K. It is run on Office football pool.com. Should get about 125/150 players. They have been running the pool for about 30 years. Solid pool.

I’m registered to play the 10-20K but might not play the 1st few weeks if my selective best bets run well. I don’t want any distractions trying to bet more games this season. Contest do that for me.

Only way to get ppl to commit is money involved

Even if you get it going as a deee league ppl won’t take it serious and keep their rosters updated unless something is on the line
