Sorry for going on, I'm sharing a bit of the market analysis going on in my office.

I think that increasing the betting IQ of the Forum is always a good thing and I also believe that I did that in this thread. I will say that the betting IQ of BMR is far more superior than that of the SBR, but you never know his lurking and not posting.

There are many ways to skin a cat and I certainly don't know everything. The only way to succeed is to continue learning, and continue advancing. Sometimes I benefit from just writing things out but hopefully somewhere in my posts somebody found some value as well.

The even money -1.5s are gone. For all those that were looking. Both Pinny and Cris hit on the -1.5, Jazz coming off of the -1 to -1.5, could they be initiating steam?

I'm not convinced, but we are now entering the last half hour of trading.

Pinny will take that -1.5 late scalp crowd no, they offer +101.

There certainly wasn't steam, as Wash just plain has support.

What we did see here is action being generated, first on Balty, but then because of that, the book was able to create action on Washington.

What a great job they did to increase the handle of this Monday Night game, even if only preseason.

Aaaaaaaand there goes the +101 and even money -1.5s as I type this.

In my opinion, here at -1.5, we are far more likely to so -1s than -2s.

-1s starting to show up at major house after major house, from Circa to BM to pph.

Lowvig still taking the -1.5 scalp at +103 for those looking.

Figures. Heritage is shitty at updating almost every odds screen out there.

With Heritage you have to always, and I mean always, check the date and times of their reporting.

If you are logged in and see it, that's something else and I bet they were juicing that +2. They were probably brifly taking sclapers at 2 lol... but I don't know that, just saying it.

I doubt it, a Balty dog ml would be bought up in an insant.

There is an appetite for that ml dog if the price is right, I was a part of that crowd. I believe this may represent the limit of sharper money in the market, or where the sharper money is leading to the dog.

@pete0 this thread is an example of Knowing Your Markets" and we can see just how shy the rest of the market is on the Washington ml.

Only the sharpest book is willing to open up to the +110 bettors. Everyone is is drastically off that price.

@pete0 and everyone else, the sharp bettors already had the broader market whipped into place, well before Pinny showed it. That is something to note. Was Pinny holding back? Were they taking in more Wash money that it looked?
