it makes no sense. He has the kind of money that he could just put away somewhere and never realize it’s missing, and could passively earn him more than any kind of lifestyle, even if he went mute and could never work again.

How does this happen? I mean, of course I know I’m an expert in the psychology of it.

But it’s extreme. once you’ve seen so many zeros, zero don’t matter anymore.

When you’re negotiating your $50 million debt against playing about a dozen shows, I suppose nothing matters anymore.

Ridiculous.

Many many moons ago Bill Cosby used to go up to Lake Tahoe and gamble at Harrah's. He was a frequenter and sometimes an entertainer there.

I was young, but my dad always said he was an ass at the tables...lol.

Anyway, to pay off a debt to Harrah's he did a stretch of 3 show for "free."
