Not good to think that way. It's about getting the number you want when you want, under the circumstance (which change constantly) that you want.
You 3.5 moved to 5.5 quickly, but is 5.5 better? After all, at 3.5, you were facing an and goal situation.
At 5.5, not so much.
EV is EV, or at least what we percieve as EV, in the moment.
A Detroit drive and score would be terrible now, but it's all about patience. Could be a long game and our early trades to realize themselves until the last drive. For example, a back door cover for your 3.5 or enough equity and another EV trade to sell out of my +270.
