The league needs to get tougher with their stance on "load management." One way they could solve all of this though is by shortening the season to around 60 games. You'd probably see less guys resting if the games meant way more during the regular season. Back in the 80's which was my favorite era of basketball because its the one I grew up watching nobody took games off but the league has gone soft.
