Tellez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.
Spin:Tellez has started 12 games against left-handed pitching this season, but he had a .182/.270/.333 slash line in 37 plate appearances and will sit Tuesday with southpaw Blake Snell on the mound for San Diego. Keston Hiura will man first base in his place for Milwaukee.

Ward had an MRI on his neck and shoulder come back clean Tuesday and is available to pinch hit against the Rangers, though he hasn't been cleared to throw and cannot yet play the field, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Spin:Ward is out of the lineup for the third straight game Tuesday since crashing into the outfield wall Friday, and he's not dealing with structural damage in his neck or shoulder. However, the injury could apparently still get worse by throwing and playing the field, per Sam Blum of The Athletic. For most teams Ward would be able to shift to designated hitter while going through his recovery, but Shohei Ohtani is locked in at the position for the Angels. It remains to be seen how manager Joe Maddon and the team handle the situation from here, but Ward's opportunities may be limited for at least the immediate future.

Renfroe was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained right hamstring, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Spin:The 30-year-old exited Monday's contest with right hamstring discomfort and will now head to the injured list after undergoing an MRI. However, the exact severity of the injury remains unclear, leaving Renfroe's return timeline up in the air. Tyrone Taylor is likely to take over as Milwaukee's primary right fielder in the meantime.
