So true. I predict attendance will be down all over the country. Sad, but true.

Doubt I'll go to any games this year. Would rather watch at home...

high car/gas prices, and even high food prices are probably going to hit attendance numbers... families will still attend games, but the guys like me that would pick up a cheap ticket might skip a lot of them... a $1 uecker ticket is a lot more than $1 if the gas to get there is $20 lol

Haha! You’re right. Can’t even imagine what food prices are at venues these days, beers are probably crawling towards $15? Insane. You mentioned parking, another great point. A family of 5 is definitely spending at least $250 to go to a MLB game… Damn!

i used to have season tix for the bucks so they would give me a break on the price (and they were cheaper)... now the only break is $5 parking for being a museum member... even these 1st round games for a decent seat it's $140 x 4... and decent beers are $14

i put my foot down and said max 2 of the first round games lolol

Haha! Good for you! So you’re going to the playoff games? I get the being there in person experience, however it’s what’s important to you and yours. Money better spent elsewhere or an expensive experience…?

Went to Astros game in 2019. 4 people. Tickets $160. Beers $8 small, $12 large. Small Peanuts $6. Parking $25. Blah, blah, blah....

My son bought the tickets so we sat in upper deck. I have no idea how a medium income family can afford a baseball game. Maybe they can go once or twice a year as a special outing.

yeah, for the finals games the ticket prices were so ridiculous we partied outside in the deer district

wish i was a billionaire so it didn't matter, was looking at going to the f1 race in miami next month... now that is freaking expensive! the trip for 4 of us would be $15k
