i did that for trubisky's first season with the bears lol same damn shirt for every game. i then gave up

I have various superstitions and rituals. But I won't say share because I fear they might stop working. Most were performed when sweating a big ticket. But nowadays I only bet when I have enough of an edge.

Never gamble when in bad mood or in rush, and don't ask others to borrow money or to give money when they gambling, and don't pat others on their shoulders while they gambling.
Wearing red is lucky for gambling, especially don't gamble against girls wearing red even if it just them wearing red underwear.
Twitching eyes are bad luck for gambling, same with twitching legs.
Sweaty hands and itchy hand good luck when gambling.

Ok, gonna be honest here. These are kinda lame up until MarkyMarks posts. Lets hear the real fvcked up degen rituals. I know some of you have them. Your amongst family and friends here. We need great posters like capt Robey, Otter, the Woz, Dougytushy terror and other posting here. We would hear some great ones. Open up peeps.
Here is a lame one as well but hilarious. I don't necessarily follow it but I know I am doomed with the outcome every damn time. Every time!!
Not even sure it is superstition as much as it is a real thing to be honest. I would like a lady gambler to let us guys know if you experience something similar. I think many pro athletes have had the same superstition especially baseball players. Clearly, the exception is Wilt Chamberlain and the amount of ladies he bedded. It is the same for degenerates. You can win every game on the board and adrenaline flying high but don't dare take that high into the bedroom with the wife. The minute those lucky "little guys" leave your body, your luck is doomed. You will lose every damn game and no pun intended will be reloading your book account.
It is what it is. Some guys go to strip clubs or pay for hookers. I pay for it too by being with my wife but having to consistently deposit to book account. Ladies, sex or no sex have any affect on your gambling outcome??

all kinds of probably meaningless shit. Had to sit down with a football in my hands in a certain spot on the couch I felt brought luck when my team had possession and had to pace like an expectant father whenever my team was on defense.
also liked certain foods etc and always wore pretty much the same clothes on an NFL Sunday
for huge plays I was on pregame I’d never tell anyone about my action not even other close gaming buddies for fear of jinxing.

lets say i have a huge bet on baseball
i dont watch on tv
i minimize the mlb screen so i can only see the last pitch
and with that, i only see the color
red, green, blue
if blue then its in play
i cover my hand over what happened and check to see if there is an (s) at the end
that means out(s) or run(s)
if there is an (s), i go back to the left side to see if its a straight line for in play, run(s) or a circle for in play, out(s) then release my hand
kinda like squeezing playing cards

I absolutely despise it when anyone throws a negative vibe into my betting euphoria or good run.
Good example. I took my girlfriend to Vegas a few summers back. I was playing four numbers, 25 each in the bubble Roulette. Popping in a $100 each roll. I had already hit a couple. When she saw I was putting 100s in and not 20s she asked me tw to stop or slow down or something. I got so pissed. I had to stop and lecture her on messing with the juju. I had to take a break and go play at another machine half an hour later.
Another time I was feeding 100s into the machine at the track a few years back. I was going to bet 1000 across on a horse I loved in the Belmont along with some exacta and trifecta wheels. Guy comes up to the machine next to me and asks, “Do you ever get any of that money back?” I wanted to punch him. I cashed out my tickets and came back the next day.
When I’m excited about a bet or betting I hate being put in a poor frame of mind by someone else. Totally messes with my juju and I rarely win unless I totally hit the reset button.
Probably more to your question if say a football team I bet really needs a first down, or is facing third and goal and I really need a TD instead of a FG I’ll stand up and get ultra close to the TV. Then if they convert I’ll do it every time I need them to come through in the clutch the rest of the game, and the thought that goes through my head and my reasoning for this is “They need me.” As if the guys need my all-in support of getting up from the couch and moving a foot away from the TV to convert in the given situation.

Hitting the reset button is the toughest most can't do instead going tilt. We pretty much know when we are spiraling in advanced but say fvck it.
