What Are The Best Excuses to Get Out of Jury Duty

Yep, I got the notice a few weeks ago. Contemplated my options and decided I better not blow it off.
What are the best excuses when the lawyers voir dire the jury for selection?

I've only got one.... I'm close friends with one of the detectives on the force. Hopefully, he investigated the crime involved with the trial.

Any other good options?

I am actually meeting a lawyer, I am going to be suing someone in a civil case , not small either. Maybe you are gonna be a juror? Can we talk about some $$ for a conviction????

It's a different world Tankster, this is not the era of our parents where they are afraid if they don't show or or respond. Nothing will happen to you if you just ignore it.
