Did the same thing this weekend. Goal = 26 miles over each long weekend (Thur to SUN).
Treadmill while watching games is not bad. One revision I made = 5 miles per session. 4 miles is a little low, b/c it takes a while to break a sweat.
Talk to someone who runs Cross Country. They accumulate 40 to 50 miles per week. It's just a matter of building it into your routine.
Stretching followed by cardio, I like this routine. Next step = not over-eating during the Holidays. I have this one figured out: avoid the bad situations, don't fall prey to it.
