Yep the affiliation of BMR and leadership didn’t turn a blind eye, which is good

Only mistake they made is entertaining the software story, but that’s part of trying to keep business moving I guess

Personally I would cut them if I was BMR. Not worth it, because this will happen to someone else by them who isn’t as lucky.
That won’t happen. Books that are listed on the site pay to be there. BMR needs their advertising $

I’m happy to report after talking to Matt Harris that WagerWeb will payout the entire 89K ticket !!! This adjustment was a mistake by a Wagerweb employee and this will NEVER happen again as their software is now updated according to their rules on 50K max parlay wins.

There was a reason why this happened it was fate and now no one else will ever get screwed and no one else did get screwed so we have to remember that. I will now update the title of this thread WagerWeb decided to pay the parlay in full. At the end of the day they did the right thing and after talking to a lot of their staff I feel very safe with my money there.

I wanna thank each and everybody who had my back and gave their support in this thread, also the people from BMR who spoke on my behalf to try to get me paid. Again I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, because this was a life-changing win and I will be able to collect ALL OF IT !

I think there’s a lot of bad apples/employees at these books lol

We’ve all experienced their rudeness and cluelessness over the years interacting with them through live chat or email

Big parlays like this rarely hit so in this case, it could have been one customer service employee involved with grading, who noticed the amount, and instantly thought it was a mistake, so then took it to the supervisor

And then that supervisor repeats the process of thinking there must be a mistake somewhere since they rarely see something like this

Then they start digging looking for a reason why it has to be a mistake

And as mentioned above, once these people make up their mind, there is no reasoning with them. They are stubborn.

The only hope is if it gets higher up, such as it did in this case, thank goodness
Wager, your logic makes sense...

I could see it being an entry level or first line supervisor trying to kill it as a first pass. I mean, if they automatically approved it and were wrong, they as employees are screwed (or dead). They knew there was a $50k limit but didn't know the software was screwed up.

So the easy thing for them to do was come up with a reason to kill it or reduce it. They did that, but fortunately, mgmt got involved and made it good.

Who knows maybe these books have an automatic answer of cutting or disqualifying a LARGE WINNING bets just like health insurance companies do when you need an expensive procedure.

There's good and bad in all industries.

In my opinion we need to give wagerweb and those in charge there much more credit

They did the research and discovered it was all the mistake of an employee or employees

This is exactly what I suggested all along, that common sense & work ethic is seriously lacking with some of the employees at these books

The ppl in charge at wagerweb did their investigation, and made it right

They deserve applauded
If it took a whole forum and revolt to get someone paid then nah I’m good on a shit site like that

They realized nobody would play there again so they “did the right thing”

I’d like my books employees to know what the fukk they are doing with my money

I spoke to JDS,

I want to remind you they were paying him not stiffing him.

huge difference

The main guys didn’t make the call against JDS. Miscommunication and misunderstanding of what JD actually betted.

Thiose calling WB a stiff book are overreacting They have been paying and paying more than the max allowed.

Also those bad mouthing Larry have no clue what they are mouthing. HE is not the owner he is simply the head sales person.

Wagerweb is a good book and did the right thing. Some people don’t even play there chiming in and falsely mudsling them.

JDS had every right to be pissed. But it ended right and didn’t take long to get it right.

JDS I explained everything and I had your back

Wagerweb is a trustworthy book.

They were not paying him almost $40k for no legitimate reason. I would call that a stiff

It's not exactly a secret that BMR would like to lessen the damage and not shit on WagerWeb (I don't blame them for doing this), but that doesn't mean independent folks like myself can't call it for what it is.

The reason they're not stiffing JDS because they got strong armed. He should have paid immediately (even if they are paying out in increments, he should've have the $89k in his account within minutes). Because any good book would operate that way. Domestic or offshore.

If you don't have the assets to cover that, then you aren't a legitimate sports book.

They got cornered and paid up (thankfully).

It is what it is

People can bet their $ wherever they want, but I am a larger than average bettor and I would never give WagerWeb a cent

Hell I am going to spread the word about this as much as possible to my betting buddies plus the internet

Pathetic behavior by WagerWeb here
