1) I know that LaRussa had to come up w/ makeshift lineup years ago day after White Sox clinched (years ago). Most of team was hungover, had to find guys to put in lineup.

2) Heard of similar story during John Cooper's last days at Ohio St. Players were take taxi to/from club on New Year's Eve. Buckeyes played EARLY game on 1/1 vs South Carolina. Routed, many guys hunover.
