I never heard of that guy who is he?
He played one year at Baylor and was always considered a lottery pick when they recruited him. I don't think his game was suited to college basketball as I was never impressed with the guy in college but don't let that take away from the fact I think this guy is the type of guy who does better in the pros versus what he did in his 1 year of college basketball. I think he has an NBA body and he's going to be an All Star not to mention I think he should win Rookie of the Year because to me Cooper Flagg is not really the generational talent they say he is and Edgecombe is going to put up better numbers.

don't put the phillyflyer jinx on him.

better shot at ROY?

edge or Jeanty?
Realistically, it should be Edge but the NBA hype machine went into overdrive hyping up Flagg as their next superstar that if he's even remotely close to Edge in the rookie race, they will give it to Flagg.

Based on that, I will say Jeanty.

Looks like a new star is born and a real big threat to Cooper Flagg in this award.

He averaged 15 a game at Baylor but they weren't that good last season. I think if this guy improves his jump shot over time he is going to be a force in the league for years to come because of his superior athleticism. He needs to work on his ball handling too but he can score and that's what they look for in the NBA.

I watched him at Baylor. He was the only thing they had last year.

34 points in NBA debut most since Wilt ages ago

Incredible talent/athlete though. You could definitely see it in college how much potential this kid had

Philly is probably thanking its proverbial stars Ace Bailey and his management team were screwing around and he didn’t wind up with rhe 76ers

I’ll bet as the years go on I’ll wish the Spurs would have taken him with the second pick

Why is it difficult to believe someone hasn’t heard about him?

I watched him a lot in college but perhaps someone else didn’t

Only reason many folks have heard of you is because you’re a thief

@Brock Landers how does it feel to be reminded on a weekly basis here at BMR that you're a piece of shit human being ?
