I have watched this about 5 times, and there is another video of him saying the same thing. I watched it with 5 of my friends tonight just to make sure I wasn't missing anything because I understand what he is saying but just in case I missed something I needed to make sure. My friends told me and this is what I thought all along, he is very vague on his comment. It could mean, $4,200 for each player if they score, or for that particular player or just for the team. It could mean 3 different things. Nobody I asked could answer it, just as I thought. So who knows which of the 3, if I was to bet, I would say it is as a team they each get $4,200, but possibly individually, who knows. They could come out and have a terrible showing and not even score in the World Cup or they are going to do well. My gut tells me that they stay within 6 of the USA, they really are a powerhouse in this part of the world but being on this stage for the first time, who knows how they will play and react. These girls are very young and very small compared to the USA. I am excited for this and just hope for a good showing, the whole Country is supporting them and it is nonstop coverage for them.

Also, I think you've said Viet is exceptionally young team. They might wear out the older US side and get some scores.

I truly think its for the whole team, each player gets it. This is a very very big deal in this country. Most of these girls are playing in other countries and the ones here get around $1,800 a month but they all make money on endorsements , their faces are plastered all over where advertising stuff. The guys I were with, sided with what I think too. But who knows, all I want is a good showing. They left Ha Noi this morning for New Zealand.

Vietnam played one of the best teams in the world in the WC preparation game. Hopefully, they learn from it and can regroup when tourny starts.
