Small risk high reward
He shot -5 in a practice round
DJ was such a presence at the US Open for that 6-7 year stretch

I remember the three-putt on 18 on those baked greens when he had an eagle to win that gifted Spieth the title

I think he came back the next year and won it

It looks like the best score will be about -4
I hope the winning score is over par. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a tournament like that.

heres an interesting write up

Ben Griffin: +7,500 to win, +210 Top 20

Ben Griffin is the definition of riding the hot hand. His win back in April at the Zurich Classic with Andrew Novak really opened the floodgates of success. In his last three starts, he finished eighth at the PGA Championship, won at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and finished runner-up to Scottie Scheffler at the Memorial. His success hasn’t been lucky, either, as he gained strokes in all four main categories in each of those three events. He is firing on all cylinders right now in every facet of his game, so 75/1 seems too good to pass up for a player who comes into this championship in the best form of anyone not named Scottie Scheffler.

He’s in one of the 3 DK Milly lineups hope he can contend.

Ben Griffin had been in a roll last two tournaments he played it's he won one and was runner up in the other one but keep in mind those were against really weak fields of players unlike this weekend the level of his opposition is a way high compared to the last 2 tournaments he played
