Refs usually pretty on top of that stuff now

Used to have a lot of examples of seemingly meaningless after the buzzer counting

I never watched these meaningless games once in a while. I’ll bet on them.

I had -1.5 so I was good either way but that was probably nerve racking for a lot of bettors because the game closed UCLA -2 at some shops. I think they got it right he didn't get it off but that was close for those who had UCLA -2.

Yeah back in the day they would just count the basket and walk off the court if it had no bearing on the winner & Loser

and yes that’s exactly what refs used to do. I remember being so pissed a few times and looking in the paper or wherever next day hoping final score was changed

The refs know there are spreads & totals at stake.
Hell, the refs are probably betting the games too....

I had the under the announcer was like 72 70 final. I said no way in hell that was in time. Like you guys said they gotta be on top of things now. Fox should have gotten it right though knowing it effected both spread and total
