What am I missing here? Dallas beat both of these teams last year by out executing them in the fourth quarter and crunch time. Minnesota is definitely playing better. I can’t believe that OKC is such a prohibitive favorite.

OKC should take care of them in 5-6 games. I'll say 6 -- maybe Minnesota gets hot a game or two like they did against Lakers

Good match up for OKC. They have the length and athleticism to match up with Wolves. Lakers and Warriors didn't really have that much (especially Lakers interior). Spamming Julius Randle isn't gonna work well this series. Edwards is a great player but streaky still. Gonna be a lot more difficult for them to be combining for 60+ a night.

Don't think rest will matter much. Minnesota was sitting at home for a week last round waiting for Warriors, who just played a Game 7 a couple days before. Warriors smoked them, with Steph only playing 13 minutes.

OKC I'll say hasn't been playing as well as their regular season match-up, but Jokic and a championship core is always going to be a tough out.

Minnesota played well the Lakers series, but styles make fights. On top of that they pretty much got a free round against the Warriors. Steph plays, that's a very different series. They got some all-time injury luck there.

I actually didn't even look at the series price, assuming OKC would be too chalky. But I actually might make a healthy wager on them.

Other than home court I don’t know see a huge advantage that OKC has. Id give Minnesota the advantage at coaching and 3 point shooting. Crunch time offense is also an advantage for Minnesota.

Coaching based on what exactly? Both seem like good coaching teams

3-point shooting both teams are streaky

OKC seems to be a pretty clearly better team all around, and like I mentioned this definitely is a favorable match-up for them

Minnesota has played better in crunch time in close playoff games. That’s coaching. OKC did some questionable moves in game 1 of the Denver series that I’ve never seen before that cost them the game. I haven’t seen that in Minnesota this playoff in a close game.

A little bit but the competition has to matter a bit here

OKC strategy was a little bizarre in Game 1 against Denver

Team won 68 for a reason though. Very big, athletic team. Really gonna offer something Lakers and Warriors couldn’t

Shooting turns these games nowadays, but I like OKC’s ability to get way higher quality looks than Minnesota

Minnesota got a free second round series basically. Steph plays that’s a very competitive series, may even lean Warriors

The strategy is coaching. If you are calling it bizarre doesn’t make it better. OKC may be the better team, but there are other factors in play for this series.
