I’d love to one day get back into it with a small budget. Get the TVG (FanDuel TV now) and maybe budget a couple of hundred a month or so just for fun. Maybe do like 8–10 days where I spend a few hours

Used to love Los Al when Les Onaka was on there. Think I told you before I enjoyed Paul LoDuca when he was on too. And man was Christina (Balcker forgot her maiden name - Olivera??) hot

Couldn’t stand Matt Carothers or that black guy that had a futures on Giacamo at 50 to 1 or more

I’ve never used the rebate shops. Some will limit you, some don’t give full track odds, especially for Tampa.

My betting style is focused on being right once every now and then with long shots. So the rare times I am right, I need full track odds and want to avoid being limited. So I have to use a mainstream app for that, like Hollywood.

@BigJay , can’t stand Carothers either. His wife has been Tampa’s house handicapper the last few years. She’s not awful but she broadcasts from an off-track location. Makes no sense.

This is what I don’t get. Florida and Texas bill themselves as the “free states.” Yet you can’t bet on a horse race and I only have one option to bet a basketball game. Such nonsense.

And Florida caved in to Disney and the Injuns when they banned greyhound racing.
