This is not true. None of the jurors nor alternate jurors said they get most of the news from Truth Social. If anyone had said that, the prosecutor would have eliminated that person.

In fact, I don’t think any of them said they get most of their news from social media. There were some who said they get some of the news from social media but not most. And none said from Truth Social.
It originated on Fox News so take if for what its worth.
They said the prosecutor ran out of strikes to eliminate that person.

It was surprising to me to read this since I would have thought the judge would have stepped in and done something.... Could be a line of crap. Seems like Fox is full-of-it sometimes.

Verdict will be guilty but won’t get jail. He has no prior convictions and it’s the lowest class of felony. He’ll get probation and fine but it really doesn’t matter as he’ll appeal it. And it will drag way after the election. B
I wonder, if he does get probation from this, will he have to meet/check-in with a PO each month? :ROFLMAO:

Damn it @Headsterx nobody voting him not guilty huh? I think the defense did a good job on Michael Cohen their star witness.

Only downside for Trump if convicted:

The GOP has really rallied around him to this point despite clearly not liking him

But you wonder if the GOP may be willing to actually detach themselves more seriously if they have to support a "felon"

I get that Trump convicted will rally some of the base up, but I actually do think it's more likely to hurt him than help him

The base is already so riled up to begin with

Trump needs to win more moderates to win the election, and this could really hurt him if it doesn't go his way

100% correct. His Maga supporters are with him regardless of the outcome.
It's only the independent voters that may be swayed one way or the other by a guilty verdict.

Lots of breakdowns on percentages depending upon where you look but with roughly 33% split amongst Dems, Indenpendents, Repubs, we're looking at maybe changing the minds of some in the middle.

Got a different take as defense first question to Cohen was asking him what he said about the defense on X. I thought that was a horrible way to start a cross examination as it had nothing to do with Trump nor the case.

i think after lunch we will get it on friday as they do not want this to go til monday
There has been thousands of jury deliberations that carried over through the weekend. The trail wasn’t even that long. The jury looks intelligent enough to put aside personal feelings to rush a verdict to avoid coming back on Monday.

He did say he robbed the Trump organization for 60k. I think that in itself is a more serious crime than the 34 charges against Trump. And now I want him to be president just cause of the democrats witchhunt. I will say I don't do politics because of the shady shit with getting what you want by passing envelopes under the table. Politics is all about power and money. I mean f*** I couldn't stand Trump. Now I'm pulling for the underdog to smash these mother fuckers. Just saying.

The jury looks extremely intelligent. Not disrespecting New York but wow they really got some decent people on the jury....

And with the roughly 33% independents about half will go to third parties of RFK, Jr, West, and Green Party and Libertarian. So it’s about 15% Biden and Trump are fighting over.

Fair enough, but I question you thinking Trump is the underdog. He’ll never win the popular vote but I’ll give it GOP, they know how to work the Electoral College.

I'm only calling him the underdog because of all the charges brought against Trump to keep him out of office. People will do anything nowadays to get what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everyone else. Politics is just fn crooks in office.

Trump says if he wins he won’t pursue revenge because he will be too busy trying to fix everything

But we all know that’s not written in stone and I would hate to be in the shoes of so many if he’s victorious

They have to be shaking in their boots thinking about the repercussions that may come, which means they will be doing whatever possible to try & win at any cost

Good spin. Democrats are so nervous of repercussions from Trump that they’ll cheat to win. Put that narrative forward and front so just in case Trump lose, we know why. Rinse and repeat.
