Starlink - they have “lite use” plans for $35.

Can’t remember what you get with it - it’s like a couple of gig of usage - but perfect for people with high speed available - but whose connection is unreliable or have a critical need for connection no matter what.

I’m signing up for it just based on the fact I work from home and internet going down means either driving an hour each way into the office or paying $30 a day/$100 a month for space in the local work space coop.

Plus now that I’ve got the boat - I can just take the kit out there and use it onboard - spend a day “working” while I’ve got a couple of lines in the water and cruising around the lake. Cell phone hotspots ok - but doesn’t work with my work computer and speeds way to spotty.

@BigJay Cell phone is always a backup TV. Sucks it so small but if you need a "fix" it'll do.
