I disagree with the take that Brady is terrible or no good in the booth.

He actually provides good insight sometimes, stuff you can't get from other broadcasters.

Similar to Romo, but Romo really burned the audience out and went from loved to hated.

Brady was hated early, but I think viewers might warm up to him.
Only if you're a student of the game. For 95% 99% of us, he's T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E

I mean he's used to playing for rings and working hard to be on the biggest of stages... but this new career, with a steep learning curve (he's a nerd at heart, ok?) is coming a little bit late in his life. He's no longer a teenager with $100 in his pocket. He'd have to dedicate himself to becoming the greatest announcer who's ever taken a seat in that booth. He'd have to get voice and acting coaches. He'd have to put his life on hold for a few months (maybe years).

It's hard to stay *that* motivated for that long.

I wonder if Fox put him in a room with games and said start talking.

Surely they had a tryout for him, lmao, for that kind of money.

On that note, if he stays at Fox, I expect *a drastic* improvement in his color announcing in the second season.

To think of it, he *could* do some/all of what I just listed in previous post. And actually become decent, on his way to becoming good in his third year, etc.

Tom, are you reading this? I want you to succeed. Hire an acting coach, and practice your lines!
