Over the years as companies we've work for changed, so has our insurance.
I've listed them in order of how good the insurance company was as far as service/coverage.
We've had the basic plan with each one of these.
Aetna - Never a problem. Never declined. Great coverage.
Blue Cross
Humana
United Healthcare - S U C K E D. Just like the stories you're reading on Social Media. This company is a POS.
I absolutely agree with this list Tank.
We had Aetna growing up for years from the place my dad worked and it was unmatched.
We had Blue Cross for 12-13 or so years at the last place I worked and it was great in most instances.
Some stupid fat jabba-the-hut looking bitch who used to be the art specialist in the school district somehow made her way to head of HR and switched us to United.
Totally sucked. Prescriptions that used to be $5 suddenly became $35-40. And on down the line. Payments for everything tripled or quadrupled. Trips to Urgent Care or the ER went from an $25 or $50 copay to $150-200 or more.
And god forbid if you needed to get approved and seen by a specialist or have a procedure done.
