There are 4 types. I’ve learned a lot about this. Most Vietnamese people I know have had it at some point in their life. For now , I am covering up and spraying the shit out of my skin with repellent. I guess it’s really bad in Vietnam and Cambodia and the rest of SEA.

I did read up on this a little too Flyingillini... An article I read said the more times you get it, the more likely it is to become worse each time. If that's the case, stay safe and covered in repellent.

I just want to sincerely thank everyone that posted in this thread, people were checking on me and caring for my well-being. Today. I got my last blood test and the Doctor said my platelets are back to normal and my blood levels are perfect. I am still tired but I am doing great and this was a life changing experience. I will be aware of wearing repellent and caring more about my surroundings regarding Dengue. You guys were great and I appreciate every single one of you. I am extending an open invitation, anyone that comes to visit, I will personally show you around my city and show you a world you never knew existed. God Bless all of you!

I got my last blood test and the Doctor said my platelets are back to normal and my blood levels are perfect. I am still tired but I am doing great and this was a life changing experience. Depending the time of the year, round trip range from $700-1,200, food, hotels, travel, everything is very very cheap. Your main expense is just getting here. Food is very cheap, entertainment cheap, nothing will break you here.
