I'm telling ya , normally I'd immediately argue that you ice the kicker there .

But something did seem rushed and off that first time he was about to kick . .
Elliot almost seemed giddy like a lil kid that a timeout was called . The Way he skipper to the sideline and practiced.

Plus certain kickers you don't ice

Normally Tucker and Elliott would be the 2 kickers in the whole league you hope feel rushed coming onto the field as you're not icing men with their profile ( 2 of the best kickers of all time easily ) .

Elliott is what 9 for 9 in situations like that. He's my favorite kicker in the NFL

He said after the game it's the hardest kick he's ever attempted at any point in his career .

The kicker was rushed , I remember even thinking that

The second they called that timeout he almost happily jogged over to the net on the sidelines to get that extra muscle memory in and then calmly trotted out for the kick not hurried by the clock

On top of that

Bills would have had two timeouts and 20 seconds to work with in the event that he tied it

McDermott is one of the worst clock management/late game coaches in the league

Think it’s time for him to go. They’ve reached their ceiling with him

It's weird . He always has the team behind him and completely prepared and is class when it comes to strategic designs to beat other teams plans going into the game ... but the big games , for whatever reasons ... it just doesn't come to fruition
