You have to wonder about that last field goal as they were down eight, inside three minutes with a fourth and goal from the eight. The coach made the Raider fans happy with the cover, but how is that the right call? Pierce gets a free buffet in Las Vegas, but continues to prove his incompetence. I predicted 3-6 for the first nine games and I think I was too optimistic as LV is tanking to try to get a QB. (BTW...they don't even have to try to tank since they are very bad which was the easiest pre-season prediction on the board). The comment above saying if O'Connell can't come back the season is over is obviously the result of a full day of drinking and a lifetime of delusion.

I was lucky as I got under 7 at a local book here in Las Vegas. It was inflated for the home team and juiced, but worth it as, I thought, this was my best bet along with SF under as I bet the Super Bowl loser under the following year as a system play. (14-6 last 20 including the, "thank you very much" tanking Eagles last year).

Coach was on local TV and said the team would be reporting back on Wednesday. It is the bye week for a terrible team making coaching changes and the team doesn't come back to work until Wednesday. They will be traveling to Miami next week. The players love him though and today's results move them closer to a top five pick which is now the goal as being competitive is too much to ask.
