It's a small country. Less than 6 million people. But quite a lot of "nice people" coming from muslim countries to enrich the country. I left Finland already. Not sure if I go back there. It's becoming a shithole imo.
Thanks for sharing your perspective over there. Is the cost of living over here a huge disparity so far ?

The cost of living in LA was probably even higher than in Finland. But Finland is way overpriced anyway. Boring place, but expensive. I'm in Thailand now, and here everything is much cheaper (except imported foreign food)
Nice choice on new place to live.

Today I have a date with a 65 year old thai woman :applaudit

I've never been with anyone that old before.
Age just a number to some people. Let’s hope this broad is down for some fun shit with you YOLO 🤘

In Los Angeles, I one time tipped someone like 10% of everything. But then I got insults after from the waitress who brought us drinks all night. I did not understand what I did wrong. But someone explained that if I write the tip amount in the receipt and let the tip amount take out of my card, then it won't go to the servers, but straight to the owner of the place instead. I had no idea that was the case.

They should understand that those who come from countries, where they don't have tipping tradition, don't know how it works.... :icon_roll
One time we are eating at a restaurant and there was something wrong with the bill

The young waiter came back and showed me a mistake how it was corrected

He then pointed out the new balance owed, but then blurted out "That doesn't include the tip"

Ummm no young fella, you don't beg for or demand a tip

You allow it to come to you in exchange for doing your job well

They are quite self-entitled. How can anybody demand a tip?! There's something wrong with the picture. It just doesn't sound right

What do you do for a living Tom? It seems that you are traveling a lot. But please don't answer if it's confidential.

Haha I rest my case! I always admire people who can work and travel at the same time.
I agree it seems fun on the surface but it can hinder relationships back at home. Not in all cases of course.
