This week will be a big test for the Eagles legitimacy as Super Bowl contenders.

If they go out west and beat the Rams in LA, that will go a long way in solidifying their credentials as legit contenders.

I already think they are the most complete football team in the league.

Offense has been top 10 for most of the year but, I like that their D has continually improved as the season progressed. Was a pretty rough start.

Agree.

It's definitely going to come down to Philly and Detroit. BUT...

if it does then the Eagles are well advantaged.

Eagles are more complete and deeper than Detroit is.

Eagles are getting better as the year progresses especially on D.
But I agree, right now the Lions seem to be the best in the NFC.

They just need QB to play well in big games.

The players today are just so unbelievably skilled its amazing. The game is so FAST, so much more finesse, the hands on the young guns is simply amazing. Back in the 70s-80s it was truly a different game! Just a physical grind it out type of game. Tough tough tough guys ALL of them. Bobby Clarke is my all time favorite Flyer from that time.

Pitchers used to pitch 9 innings.

Hockey players would get hit in the mouth with the puck and lose teeth and be back out for the next shift.

Basketball players would use their elbows as weapons.

Now we have shit like Sunshine with jealous posts on BMR.
