I don't make a habit of smoking infused or "flavored" cigars, JJ. I do occasionally smoke them, however.

Tatiana is a popular brand but on the lower end of these types of cigars. I would suggest something from Drew Estate such as the Java line.

Java Mint smokes like a mint chocolate chip ice cream. Java Red is chocolate and cherries.

You might also try other higher end infused cigars like Fat Bottom Betty and Crazy Alice.

Tremendous info

What’s the big thing about Cuban cigars?
Cigars originated in Cuba and traditionally that's where the best cigars come from. Cuban soil is very special and completely perfect for cigars, JJ.

Times have changed, however. When the communists took over Cuba they also took everyone's factories and the cigar making families fled to other countries.

The result now is that Cuba has a huge problem with quality control because it's all in the hands of a really fukked up government.

Cuba still does have the best soil, they lack the quality control. As a result, other cigar producing nations have caught up big time. Countries like, for example, Nicaragua, can now lay claim to be growing the world's best tobacco.

On the whole, this is true as Nicaragua currently produces more quality cigars than Cuba does. However, if you can get a great quality Cuban, they're still the best in the world. They're just few and far between.

Also, countries like the Dominican Republic produce some truly outstanding cigars that can rival the best Cubans. Companies such as LA Flor Dominicana and Fuente produce some truly remarkable cigars.

Nicaragua has a plethora of outstanding cigar companies led by Padron, who right now is, in my opinion, the best and most consistently outstanding cigar manufacturer in the world.

I hope this explanation helps. I tried my best to explain it.

Never much of a smoker - one of the old man’s request after finding out he was terminally sick was a couple of good cigars like a good friend used to bring around. Gave him a box of Romeo & Juliet Churchill’s - we enjoyed a couple sitting watching harness racing - one of my favorite memories we got together.

Drink of choice - Miller High Life - long before it was a fashionable hipster pick. Worked in at a liquor store and Budweiser dominated the market - I was friends with all the salespeople - but the Miller guy LOVED pissing off Budweiser - so seeing drink a Miller when Bud was making rounds at all the bars getting orders and having me help with promo nights just drove bud man crazy. It was literally me and a couple of old bar flys drinking the stuff - but hey, it was all in good fun - plus it was always my granddads go to aside from a shot of Seagrams 7.

Whiskey (or whisky) - not a huge fan - Crown is ok - I do have a couple of cases of Blantons SFTB I stashed a few years back and one of those bottles is getting cracked open when I’m better and able to get together with some friends. I like good tequila straight too.

A lot of this stuff is just “image” - too many people get caught up in the price of say Pappy Van Winkle to stop and realize it’s not their taste. Just like wine - just because something cost 1500 a bottle doesn’t mean it’s better than a $15 bottle - it’s about YOUR taste - not what some aficionado magazine said you should like.

Kinda my take on Cuban cigars too - I mean obviously the acidity of soils and fact they have been doing them for centuries impacts quality - but some people wouldn’t know the difference between a fine Cuban cigar or a 25 cent Marsh Wheeling Stogie.

Great stuff. I was always a Miller High Life guy. ALWAYS. Budweiser gives me a headache like you wouldn't believe. Miller is so smooth and drinkable. On a hot day, there's no better beer.

I have friends from Germany, where beer was invented, the first time I had him try Miller High Life he couldn't believe it. He loved it.

Love the smell of a cigar. I remember that well when sitting in sportsbooks or at the track back before they were banned.

I don’t smoke though. if I did I think my dad would come back from the grave and kick my a$$.
