They banned me for “bad line abuse” but they paid me out on any outstanding bets so I don’t have any issue with it

Curious - what constitutes “bad line” to them - something obvious like +1100 when it should have been +110 or just “soft” lines where they were dealing a +120 when it was +110 everywhere else and you took advantage.

To be honest - haven’t seen too many obvious bad lines in a while anywhere. When it’s caught - most books will immediately cancel and repeat offenses get a “final warning” .

Outright ban is rough - unless your a lifetime winner who has been playing the least profitable stuff - then it’s just an excuse to cut loose a customer who adds no value.

Overall - I’ve been happy with the book. Best shop out there by far from a player perspective.

Exactly - there are plenty of acceptable reasons to “ban” players - and winning isn’t one of them.

Limit them and use their action to help sharpen your lines.

A lot of amateur bookies out there these days who are afraid to deal a low juice line and take big boy bets. They rely on inflated margins and Joe public betting players. Worse - when it comes time to pay they may excuses.

My experience says Bettors Den (as well as YW/BO and Bet105) aren’t like that (at least on major US sports - YW and $300 tennis limits are a joke) - others including Bookmaker are good - but have their disadvantages. Heritage used to be great - but is rapidly becoming rec only these days - pushing everything to B105 it feels.

I don't mean to get nosy but how many warnings/notices did you get before the ban on bad line abuse?
I got 2 warnings, one of which I missed and I probably shoulda have heeded the other more carefully. I honestly didn't think so much of it since I mainly play at legals and some of the sharper offshores (BetOnline, Bookmaker, Bet105) where its been more best case I'm getting paid, worst case they'll void it and move on. Obviously Bettorsden chooses to view it as much more of a violation, and if they don't want my business because of it I don't like it, but I get it.

I probably fall into the lifetime winner and was playing a good chunk of the less profitable stuff category lol so I get it. Outside of getting banned I liked the book as well, definitely one of the best offshores currently imo.

If a bookie doesn't accept serious players - even smaller actions compared to recreactional activity - it is not a serious shop

Still waiting for clarification on the "ban" meaning. Ban literally means none action allowed
When I log in I'm greeted by the message, "Sportsbook wagering has been suspended. Please contact customer service for more information." Its not like a "my limits got cut to where its no longer worth it type of ban"

Some of the stuff was definitely egregious like a PFL fight I hit at -280 while it was -600 everywhere else
but like other ones less so like a hockey prop at -195 where pinnacle and most others were like -300 but like fanduel was hanging -260 so like "off market" sure but not egregious in my eyes
