This is the tip of the iceberg. There will be many many more gambling scandals in the future. They had to teach this guy a leason, because no one knows who he is I think they went too hard on him. He wasn't very good at gambling straight up. I read somewhere the 3 games he bet on in NBA (he wasn't playing) he lost. The only way he could win was bet on himself and cheat.

He'd be perfect here.

He told two sports bettors he knew about his health status before a March 20 game. One of them placed an $80,000 parlay to win $1.1M, betting on Porter to go Under on his prop numbers. Porter played just three minutes before claiming he felt ill. Because of the unusual betting activity and Porter’s actions, the bet was frozen and reported to the NBA by the sportsbook Draftkings.

Porter also placed at least 13 bets on NBA games during the 2023-24 season using another person’s account, ranging in size from $15 to $22,000 for a total of $54,094. Porter had net winnings of $21,965 on those wagers. One of those bets was a parlay in which he bet against the Raptors Not to fucking bright. He was like hey hello here I am.
