Technically correct - yes.

The “link” is both vehicles were rented on Turo (a peer to peer rental service).

Pretty weak link if you ask me - given it’s the number 1 service of its kind. What if one or both had used Uber - would we be “linking” them to the NYC CEO shooter too ?

But yea - at the same time not the way the people at Turo probably want to see their service making headlines.
