I just read the "Warrior Dividend" was (kind of) already budgeted by Congress in the One-BBB.
The $1776 isn't new money. Its taking money that was originally budgeted to be used on improving housing conditions for troops (which apparently are horrendous) and now is being used as a bonus for the troops.
While I love seeing bonuses handed out to the troops, I'm wondering how they feel about continuing to live in poor conditions......
Seems like a 3-card-monte kind of game going on here.

I gotta admit - stopped paying into my 401k in August - moved, switched jobs, etc. I’ve just left it in my old job’s account, and it’s gone up by almost $25,000 and I haven’t done a thing to it…..
