This is insane......

The new policy requires employees who are within 10 feet of customers to smile, make eye contact, wave, and use friendly, approachable, and welcoming body language, the Minneapolis-based retailer said on Monday, Nov. 10.

If staff members are within 4 feet of customers, they must personally greet the guests, smile, and initiate a warm, helpful interaction, Target said.

I wonder if this is our own @MinnesotaFats philosophy in his business dealings too since he obviously has Minnesota roots like Target

Target has problems.

They're in the strange position where theyre priced a bit higher than WalMart, have a higher quality of household descretionary items and dont have the grocery selection or store brands that WamMart or a chain grocery has.

I wouldn't be surprised if their revenue per square foot dropped enough to start closing stores soon. People trading down trying to save $100 per month is what kills the premium brands.
