Philly vs Miami 7:05 ET

Pitching:
Zach Eflin (PHI) is improving. Last two starts has given up 1 ER in 12 innnings. Actually his season would be great if he could remove the two starts against the mighty Mets (both those games were on the road). At home Eflin has 1.16 ERA in 5 starts.

Trevor Rogers' (MIA) ERA has been trending higher and higher over the last few weeks. He finished April with 5.09 ERA for the month, finished May with a 5.32 ERA, and so far with two starts in June he's at 7.27 ERA. Season to date he has a 5.58 ERA.

Philly also does as well if not better against left-handed pitchers (= T. Rogers)

Batting:
Over the last week Philly is in MLB top 5 in Avg/OPS while Miami is in the bottom 10.

Philly is on a bit of a roll. 9-1 in last 10
Miami 6-4 in last 10.

Philly ML -141

World Cup Qualifier Costa Rica vs New Zealand (playing in Qatar) at 2:00 ET.

I can easily see two goals in this game. I expect the Ticos to at least score 1-2 goals. The All Whites have been a goal scoring machine in prior WC qualifiers (17 goals in 5 games). They could come up with a goal or two as well. Navas (Costa Rica) is a great goalie though so NZ may come up blank.

I can easily see this as a 2-1, 2-0, 3-0, or 3-1 game. Over 1.5 seems like an +EV play.

i feel like this could be something fun to play...

but tanko, what do you think about the under in the dodgers game

Gonsolin (LAD) is GREAT. I don't expect a lot of Angel runs tonight.

Sndergaard (LAA) is not so good. He did have a good start last time out (vs Boston) but he's up/down/up/down all year from game to game. All his "UPs" are at home. All of his "DOWNs" are on the road. He's at Dodger stadium tonight.

Dodger bats have been weak lately (bottom 6 in MLB over the last 7 days). So, what will give first? Will Dodger bats remain quiet and give you the desired under or will Syndergaard have a "DOWN" game and give up some runs.

Tough call.
If I had to make a bet, I go under but, I'm passing. Better opportunities elsewhere.
Good luck.

horrible decision by Phillies manager to pull Eflin after only throwing 80 pitches through 6

Phillies don't have a single useful arm in their entire pen and he wanted them to go a good 3 innings?

Eflin was absolutely cruising after the 1st inning troubles
