D-backs coach should be fired. Horrible management of pitching. He put Ginkel in to start the 8th and the the guy couldn't hit the side of a barn if he was standing next to it. He let the Ginkel load the bases and then walk in the tying run. WTH????

I hope the D-backs don't make the playoffs. Stupid coaching like this should have consequences.

We've talked about this a few times

Many of the same managers who sit or stand with their thumb up their azzes & doesn't pull a pitcher while as they stink it up so bad the game gets completely away from them, are the same ones who will pull a starter too early when he is mowing batters down

It just doesn't make sense and it boils my blood betting baseball in these situations

Yep. I put Verlander 2nd or 3rd on Astros starting rotation.
He's clealy not as effective as he once was but, there are guys like Greinke in KC that are older than dirt that are just smart pitchers and can still get outs so maybe there's some hope.
