I'm on UCONN tonight in the biggest matchup on the card. I think St. Johns is very good so I hate betting against Pitino and his squad but they just had a huge win and now they go on the road to play a UCONN team that is playing much better and will probably be looking to make a statement of their own tonight. It's a short spread so I laid the number although I gave major consideration to the ML. I just didn't want to pay the juice and I think if UCONN wins they'll cover the short number at home.

They haven't performed as well as expected in the 4 years he's been there. In 22-23 (his 2nd year) he did well finishing 3rd in Big10 but bowing out in the 2nd round. In 23-34, they finished in the middle of the Big10 but did not make the tourny. They probably won't make it this year.

The downward trend the last two years is why he's out. Probably told him to quit or be fired.

I like the fact that he will exit with class. No bad blood, but telling the team now I guess will just ruin the morale of players.
