I was leaning to Arkansas at 1st glance. The 5 - 2 record is misleading. They lost the 2 games against decent opponents ( by 5 @ Baylor and 13 @ Illini )

Miami had a bad outing last game vs Charleston Southern but I think they recover tonight.

Arkansas struggles offensively but Miami isn't the greatest defensively so maybe Arkansas gets right tonight.

Trying this one to start.

Ohio St. +5.5-105

Ohio St. lost to Pitt at home last Friday on a last second 3 pointer in OT. PIT is a good team so I don't think it was too surprising. Maryland has only covered the spread 2 out of its last 6 games and when you dig deeper and consider the only two games that they should have been challenged (Marq and Nova) they did not play up to expectations.

Go Buckeyes....
Damn it hurts to say that but since we're talking basketball, I guess it'll be ok.

USC has only covered 1 out of its first 8 games (they covered the 1st game of the year).
Oregon is rolling. 3 Straight wins over top 50 teams, each by more than expected.

G. Wash/American: G. Washington -4-108

GW hasn't played a whole lot of competition but then again American is #241 on KenPom so this shouldn't be much of a game.

1-2 -$113 yesterday.....

George Washington came back from 11 down in the 2nd half and I thought they would cover near the end of regulation but it went to OT and they got stomped.

Ohio St. was just a disaster from the tipoff. Horrible game.

TCU +1-109 Bookmaker

Going out on limb on this one. TCU doesn't cover (1-6 ATS this season) but it's their first game as a dog and being at home helps. They are 4-0 at home against lesser opponents. TCU has a great HCA and this is Xaviers 1st true road game.

Interesting. The line flipped from TCU +1 to TCU -1 around lunchtime.
Hopefully, that's a good sign.

Was an ebb and flow game Mike....

TCU well in control and then gave up the lead late just to come back and score 7 stright points for the win. The Xavier turnovers the last 1:30 really screwed them. I think they would have won if they avoided them.

On another note, the TCU HCA does not seem to be as strong as I've seen in prior years. That place was half empty. I know its a private school and finals may be coming up but, dayam, it was empty. I've been there when the house was a rocking.
