After the massive $1 profit last week, we start a new week..

Alabama St. @Southern Univ --> Southern -4.5 -108

I'm estimating the EV on this line at -4.5 is just shy of 10%. Southern is on a roll of late, winning their last 5 in a row and 8 out of their last 10. No losses at home during that run. As a matter of fact, they have no losses at home this season.

For Ala St. this is the best team they've faced by quite a margin since Dec 29th. They are 1-3 in their last 4 and 6-4 in their last 10 games vs oppenents much weaker than Southern U. Those 4 losses were by 6, 11, 1, and 10 points.

Southern is better than Alabama St in most key metrics. Southern will likely be outrebounded by this Ala St. team but everything else indicates Southern should cover at home.

Tenn St. should cover @ Tenn Tech today.

• They have a 5 pt effic margin on BOTH offense and defense.
• Tenn St. 7-1 in last 8 games. The one loss was to a decent Morehead St. team (rank #110)
• Tenn Tech is 2-6 in last 8 games. Since mid-Dec, the only teams they've beaten are in the bottom 10% of NCAA rankings.
• Tenn St. beat Tenn Tech by 32 at home mid-Jan.

I do not believe this is a rivalry game since Tenn St.'s historical rival was HBCU Kentucky State until Tenn St. went Div 1. Tenn Tech's rival was Midd-Tenn St. so I think we're safe in that aspect.

I just don't see how Tech keeps up with State today.
Franz is on this game to so, I'm feeling even better about the play.

They didn't show up in 2nd half. It was like a completely different team.
That and Tenn Tech played like Duke on cocaine or something in the 2nd half.
