Can't say I like how Stroman is throwing for the Yankees. He's a ground ball pitcher but his pitches in 1st inning were all high. He got through it clean.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY.... Yankees score 3 in the bottom of the 1st with a Stanton homer.

Does anyone else hate this week.... the one following the MLB trade deadline?

I do. Most websites (fangraphs, teamrankings, even ESPN) can't keep up with all the moves that have occurred making data crunching even more difficult. A lot of manual corrections having to be made to the data as you download and use it.

DET F5 -110 Skubal vs Wheeler.... Awesome matchup. It is close to a toss up but Wheeler has a tendency lately to give up a run or two in the F5. Skubal has only done so in 1 out of last 5 games.

ATH -113 Ginn vs Gallen... Gallen has struggled this year and lately its been getting worse. He's given up an avg of 4.1 runs in 5.2 innings of work.

CHW +134 I see value at this line. Hendricks is decent for the Angels but Civale has been a little better lately. White Sox are hitting the ball better than the Angels and are a on a positive trend since the AS break.
