Meet leading rider Marin being ignored right now. 9-1 with 10mtp. Avila has been quiet but had a nice second two races ago.

Close it out, boys. -$350 for meet.

Was going to play and post the Smith horse in race 2 today, but sat it out. Smith horse won and paid $33.80.

Still would’ve finished in the negative. But was a fun meet, as always. A lot less bombs than normal.
I’ll be on a much-needed break until Colonial in July.

I remember when I used to play the horses a lot it was always a big comedown after Oaks and Derby day

I always found it amusing that CD would run two allowances optional claimers or something like that after the Derby

But the old timers would be betting them and rooting their horses on like crazy like it was the KD a race or two before
