I was going to ask you about that as you are going against a trend.

As a baccarat player, I almost never ever go against a trend.

Since someone lost X number of games and therefore they are due to win? I don't like that logic but I guess adding 4L ATS could make some difference but still. I almost never like to bet a team who just lost, because there is a reason why they lost.

Anyway, I did see your post about that system pick in JDS' thread and it won so obviously it's working for you.

Instead of giving a cut of winnigs to my wife who just donates right back to casinos, I should gave some of it to you to bankroll your sports betting. Then, instead of paying me back, just give me a cut of whatever you win until it's paid back plus maybe a small percentage. But, that's if you are a life time winner in sports betting. I don't know anyone who has won overall in their lifetime.

I only bet football and not every week as I'm a spot bettor. There are weeks this past season that I didn't make any bets at all. This season was the best ever for me and it ended on a great note with your help and JDS. Thanks again.

This forum definitely made me a lot of extra money this season.

Thank you everyone.
yeah what happens if I lose it all. Lol. I don’t have $10,000 to pay you back. I’ve been spending my cash lately. Raised my rent again. Going to restaurants. Just blowing it. Lol

So freaking sad that the football season is over when I'm on fire winning mid to upper 5 figures in the CFP and NFL playoffs. Can't wait until the next season. Thanks to Sunshine and JDS, I won quite a bit more parlaying CBB ML picks.

Won't be betting basketball as it's just too dangerous for me with too many games on every day.

Good luck to everyone!
I hope you will still be going to stick around, @justlooking

Sportsbooks escape octopus prop, bettors win on Seahawks, pick-6

LV REVIEW JOURNAL SUBSCRIPTION

John Murray said before Super Bowl 60 that he’d hoped the game was so boring that he’d fall asleep in his office.

The Westgate vice president of race and sports got his wish early as the Seattle Seahawks led the New England Patriots 9-0 at halftime. But he was wide awake in the fourth quarter as sportsbooks sweated out several props with the game in hand for Seattle.

“We were definitely afraid of the octopus when New England scored a touchdown and went for two,” he said.

The octopus, a prop that has become popular in recent years, would’ve paid 16-1 if the same player scored a touchdown and the subsequent 2-point conversion for eight points. Centennial High product Rhamondre Stevenson caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Drake Maye with 2:21 left. But Maye’s 2-point conversion pass was incomplete to Hunter Henry.

It was only the second Super Bowl with no touchdowns through three quarters. The SuperBook avoided a massive loss on that prop in the 2019 Super Bowl, when the Patriots scored the game’s lone touchdown midway through the fourth quarter of their 13-3 win over the Rams.

“We were more worried this time that New England would score exactly zero points,” Murray said. “We would’ve taken a hit on that.”

Caesars Sportsbook was sweating the no-touchdown prop until Sam Darnold threw a 16-yard scoring pass to A.J. Barner with 13:24 remaining to put Seattle ahead 19-0.

“We did see strong interest in no-touchdown in the game, which we offered all week at 175-1,” Caesars head of football Joey Feazel said.

It’s not under until it’s over

The game went from a dead under to an apparent over the total of 45½ when Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III broke free for a 49-yard touchdown run with 2:10 left. But a holding call on the Seahawks nullified the score and the game stayed under.

“Overall, it was a solid winning day,” Red Rock Resort sportsbook director Chuck Esposito said. “It wasn’t the best case, which was Seattle winning but not covering. But keeping the game under was huge. That definitely helped a lot. We were huge under fans.

“Kenny Walker winning MVP was good and the futures were good.”

MVP

Walker, the 8-1 choice to win MVP behind Darnold and Maye, finished with 135 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards to become the first running back to win Super Bowl MVP since Denver’s Terrell Davis in 1998.

Seattle’s Jason Myers was up to a 200-1 long shot to become the first kicker to win the award after setting a Super Bowl record for most field goals with five.

“I never gave him a shot, (Walker) had so many yards,” Boomer’s Sportsbook director of trading Nick Bogdanovich said. “As long as Darnold was eliminated, I never thought Myers had any chance.”

Despite five field goals by Myers, the prop of “What will be more: longest field goal or total points scored?” went to the points (42) as the longest field goal was 41 yards.

Pick six

Bettors cashed in on a pair of popular plus-money props when Seattle’s Uchenna Nwosu intercepted a pass from Maye and returned it 44 yards for a score to put the Seahawks up 29-7 with 4:27 left.

A defensive or special teams touchdown paid +225 and Seattle to score a defensive/special teams touchdown paid 4-1 at Caesars Sportsbook, where it was one of the best prop results for bettors. The play was initially ruled a fumble before being changed to an interception. A pick six paid 6-1.

Tails fails

Houston furniture store owner Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale lost a $2 million wager at Caesars on the AFC to win the Super Bowl. Caesars also took a lot of action on the coin toss, with a $100,000 wager in Iowa on tails (-103) and a $253,000 wager in Nevada on heads (-103).

The latter bet was placed in cash at Caesars Palace on Sunday and cashed when Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana’s toss landed as heads.

Other top prop results for bettors at Caesars were the opening kickoff to be a touchback (+250) and Barner to be the first touchdown scorer (12-1).

The best props for Caesars were no safety, no overtime and players with a pass attempt under 2½.

Caesars took four six-figure wagers on the Seahawks and BetMGM paid out $3 million on a $50,000 futures bet on Seattle to win the Super Bowl at 60-1.

“Players got the best of us,” MGM Resorts director of trading Lamarr Mitchell said. “More late large Seahawks bets came in (Sunday).”

Only 16-1 ??

That prop should pay minimum 40-1 !
