It was never as simple as Geraldo Rivera.

Always two first names and two last -

Geraldo Edwin Rivera Marcella
Yup and quite often the clerk would leave out one of the middle names and you were screwed if not paying attention. Get home no deposit credited then realize what happened then say WTF.
Drive 5 miles back to W.U. in 5 o'clock traffic to fix. Fun times.

Ok I’m up now. Debit card to deposit. ACH withdrawal straight to my bank account. It’s fast like only 2 days. 4% fee. So $1500 was $60. Right fee don’t matter I just win it right back. Lol.
USPS not so fast it’s already been a full week.

I always figure a letter takes 2 days across states. From California to MA.it would usually 3 days or used to be. Mail nowadays takes longer than longer than it did 40 years ago. Hell I could mail a bill payment in my city and always there next day. It's ridiculous.

Remember the days of sending WU to Costa Rica or Panama to whatever random name the give you?

"Yes, I'd like to send $1000 to Geraldo Rivera, he should be waiting at the WU in Panama City, I swear I just talked to him."

3 hours later...

"Yes, I'd like to send $1000 to Gigi Rodgriguez, she should be waiting at the WU in San Jose, Costa Rica, I swear I just talked to her."

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Yeah, I remember having to physically go down to the WU store to give them my money. They also asked for your name and address. I put "1234 5th Street" as my address.

:ROFLMAO:

It was at a Korean owned grocery and the clerk/owner said 'That's a rather interesting address."

Did you send where he’d have to sign for it? So you could track?

I hate USPS but when I have to send it’s the only way I do it. Spend the extra $11 so they have to sign for it
