The Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame is being postponed a day after a New Orleans terror attack that killed 15 per @wsbtv. Scheduled now to play on Thursday night instead of tonight.

No risk or danger there

Interesting- Heritage just refunded a prop bet that had moved in my favor in the game, but the Georgia -1.5 bet is still listed as pending. I copied and pasted from the football rules. Not a big deal for me, always weary of books taking advantage of situations. I lost a season long bet on App State season wins over at Draftkings even though they had a game cancelled during the year. Wonder if DK graded the App State Season Wins Under bets as winners???

Police say the man was shot once and died on the scene. He was clad in body armor and had to be shot in the face. A female (poss. bystander) was apparently grazed by gunfire.

They've updated the ticket to show the game is 1/2/25 so I assume the play is still valid.

If I hit the 1st 2 legs of the teaser and then they later cancel the on the 3rd leg (ND/GA) if it hits, I'll be pissed.

You cancel wagers automatically - people will bitch (if they would have won). Don’t and they WILL bitch when they lose.

While it’s short notice on New Years Day - they simply should have shot an email out - saying while the rule says cancel for postponement - it’s a rule designed to reflect extended deferments of the game - not less than a 24 hour delay for whatever reason (weather/darkness/advisory).

Fairest way to handle this would have been saying cancel at request up to 5p EST play stands - just mass email client list and post to all forums. Too late for that now though. Want to be really generous - offer a 5 cent line on game for tomorrow or a bonus get out of bet at halftime. Even a free $25 wager to anyone who bet it and kept their wager action with a 5x RO would be a decent token of appreciation.

Guess common sense in bookmaking ended around 2014 though.

WAIT, did they not cancel all wagers in the end, sticking with their written rules (which are in line with industry standard for resheduled games)? My bet was cancelled without me asking them too, If so, their only mistake was not doing that at the start, but they got it right at the end,
