Didn't watch much of the 49er's game this weekend, why did they deserve such a jump inside the top 3 ?

Thought they played well enough to win by a lot more. It's also Week 1. Divisional rival on the road. Some new pieces on defense. They controlled the game for the most part.

Don't love injury situation, but if they get healthy I think they're legit.

Gotta remember -- rankings are relative. I don't see a super impressive team in the league right now.

People will salivate over the Baltimore/Buffalo game, but in reality you just have two shitty defenses and franchises that love to choke when it's time to play Mahomes in the playoffs

Rankings aren't based just on Week 1
