Giants are a tempting team to bat because it always seem like they can hang around in any game with their pitching depth. But I think I gotta be a little more cautious with them (even though i think they've made me money overall)

Astros may be the team I give more of the repeated looks. Think they are going to take it up a notch down the stretch here

Yep they've been a weird team. The opener strategy has generally been pretty good for them, but I can't trust their bats at all. Really seems like a chore for them to score 4+ runs.

I mean I didn't they'd be anything great this year, so I would imagine you are somewhat pleased with the season if they get into the playoffs?

I am in the area so I'm plugged in, but I'm a Reds fan
I don't know how they do it because I'm not a fan of Gabe Kapler yet the guy somehow wins with whatever the GM gives him. I don't agree with some of his decisions but if they make the playoffs I'll be satisfied with their season because I didn't expect them to contend this season since I figured the Padres would be better.

Kapler way too into the analytics. I swear he's a robot

I was at the Rangers/Giants game on Sunday. Pulled Webb at 8 2/3 innings up 1-0 and I'd never heard a stadium boo so much at a pitching change

Of course they give up a run (even though they pulled up a wild win with the two-out 2-run HR in 10th)

Yeah and it wasn't like he threw too many pitches. I think he was at 107 pitches or something like that when Kap went for Doval. Thankfully Bailey bailed his ass out but Kap does this crap all the time and I can't stand him at times because of it.

Like I said though this is the same guy that won 107 games with a slightly different roster and he's somehow got this team in position to make the Wild card. I would be amazed if they did it but not surprised in the least if someone below them catches them and they don't make it.
