Better is seriously a very subjective thing. Neither is exactly “healthy” or anywhere near it. HFCS is actually “sweeter” than cane sugar. Then there’s the whole issue of sourcing sugar cane - which is not an American product vs corn which very much is dominated by our farmers.

I’d be interested to see how many preferred one over the other in a blind taste test - or could tell any difference. Just like beer - a clean dispenser makes much more of a difference in taste than slight variations in ingredients I suspect. It’s why McDonalds coke is better - the extra in lime water filters and freshness of product as it’s turned over more.
